I am Inspector employed

by the Peak Tramway Co. I took the tram down on 22nd June.

I got off the tram on the station side of the bridge before

the tram got into the station. It was at 3.18 p.m. I left

the tram because I saw a little European girl in the nullah.

She was above the tram bridge and two chair coolies were with

her one on each side of the water. I went along to the side

of the nullah and received her from the coolies. I took her

to the Peak Tram Station. There I received another little

European boy from a British soldier. I have since learned

these children were Fay Bromley and Tony Flood. I then

telephoned to the police at Central.

X X. Lin. I see Ex. 3A. I first saw the little girl herc
